Ceara Cub and Scout Troop

Boys may join Ceara Cubs and Scouts after their 8th Birthday( when they stay in school until 3 o'clock) and leave at the end of the year they attain their 14th birthday. Membership is open to any boy attending the school regardless of faith, race, culture, nationality or any other circumstance. Boys are required to make the Scout Promise.

The Scout Law

The Scout Law is:

When do Ceara Cubs And Scouts meet?

The Cubs and Scouts meet on Tuesday afternoons 3pm-4pm in the School hall.

 

What do Ceara Cubs and Scouts wear?

Cubs are aged 8years -11 years and wear the green cub sweatshirt

 Scouts are aged 11-14 years and wear the green Scout shirt.

All boys wear the Ceara Neck Scarf which is navy bordered with red.

Activity trousers are available but are optional.

Uniforms are available at the Scout Shop in Belfast and in Ivan Jameson, Portadown. Neck Scarves are available in School.

 

What do Ceara Cubs and Scouts do?

We have fun. We have indoor and outdoor adventure and activities, we play games , learn songs and learn new things and skills through our badge work. We attend the Youth Parade with young people in our town in other organisations.

At our meetings we are organised into Packs. There are 3 packs led by a sixer.
