Class 19

Welcome...

Friday 3rd April. EASTER HOLIDAYS!

Hi everyone! Hoping you have all had a lovely week spent learning and playing at home with your families. Today would have been the beginning of your Easter holidays had things been different. I know that it is a strange time for us all and we can be finding it quite difficult. Please take the next two weeks to really cherish each other and make the most of your time spent together. Try and forget about school work and have some down time. Perhaps playing in the garden or watching a movie with your siblings! Please know that I am thinking about you all and miss you all so much. I will be back online with some new activities for you all on the 20th of April. Wishing you and your families a very happy and safe Easter!

PS. For those of you in class 19 who love musicals, Andrew Lloyd Webber is airing a free musical every Friday night on his Youtube. Tonight is Joseph! Maybe you could watch and sing along :)

PPS. Another cool idea is if you type an animal's name into Google (on an iPhone or Android) and then press 'View in 3D'. It brings up your camera and then 30 seconds later you have a tiger in your house! You can take a photo with it and you can walk around with it.

You can find:

Lion                                              Angler Fish

Tiger                                            Goat

Cheetah                                        Rottweiler

Shark                                           Snake

Hedgehog                                           Eagle

Duck                                            Brown Bear

Emperor penguin                           Alligator

Wolf                                             Horse

Shetland pony                               Cat

Macaw                                          Octopus

Pug                                              Dog

Turtle                                           Golden Retriever

Have fun, stay home and stay safe!

Wednesday 1st April. GROW YOUR OWN BEANS IN A JAR!...

Tuesday 31st March. Mess free Rainbow in a bag...

Today's additional activity is painting in a sandwich bag. All you need is a sandwich or ziplock bag and some colourful paints. Just pop a white page and blobs of the paint in the bag and let your child spread the paint out with their fingers. A simple and mess-free way to experience painting at home!

Monday 30th March. Online Dance classes...

Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend taking a break from school work and activities to spend time with your loved ones. You will find this week's activities in a folder called 'Week 2' on this webpage. Please remember to take photographs of you doing some activities or of whatever masterpieces you are making. I can't wait to see them all when I see you again! Parents, I know it's hard to keep your little angels occupied during this time, however there is an online inclusive dance class which specialises in SEND dance classes which may help to occupy your child (even for a little while at least). You can find some more information on this by clicking the link below. Missing you all so much and can't wait to see you all again. Have a great week and stay safe!

Rainbow Window art...

Calling all class 19 Special agents.

You have been given a very special mission to carry out!

Design a poster to say thanks to all the frontline services- NHS staff, Police officers, Food delivery people, Postal Service, Bin Collectors, Shopkeepers and many more...

You may have seen some houses with rainbow pictures in their windows on your daily walk. You could incorporate a rainbow into your work too, to bring a little bit of happiness and colour to your window! Take photos of these and I can't wait to see them! :)

Martina's Buns...

Oh yummy! I know a lot of class 19 enjoy Martina's buns for dessert after their dinner in school. How lucky are we that Martina has given us her secret recipe to make them at home! I hope you all enjoy baking these. Use it as your cookery for the week too!
